"My creations are an admission of what i understand about art, myself, and the world. As with all of my work, abstract or representational, the bathers for example, are simply shapes that fill space and create a composition, which, from work to work, reflect a sacred geometry, some stronger than others. Color theory and subject are of course important, but to me this sacred filling of space with form and movement has more to do with energy and the captured essence of existence, than with literal representation of subject matter. Yet, in spite of the emotion driven transcendence from emptiness to manifest form, the figurative image, however, is simply a group of bathers, and the nonrepresentaltional abstract shall forever remain that. Two separate dimensions, conjoined by a chord of metamorphosis and evolution...within this stream, I exist as an artist, and work is born."
